Lean & Hungry Theater is holding auditions on Wednesday February 27th and Monday March 4th from 7pm-10pm for Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT, directed by Hannah Todd & Renana Fox. AS YOU LIKE IT will rehearse May 15th to June 9th and be broadcast live on WAMU on June 9th 2013.

Actors will be asked to create a unique, distinct voice for each character and will participate in creating foley sound effects. Actors will be paid a small stipend.
Lean & Hungry sets Shakespeare's classic comedy As You Like It in the flower-child era of the 1960s. Banished from the well-bred, wealthy halls of their childhood home, Celia and Rosaling seek refuge at Arden, a giant, Woodstock-esque concert. What follows is peace, love and music as the characters woo, philosophize and enjoy the freedom of life away from the constraints of stuffy society.

*Special consideration will be given to those who can do a Bob Dylan singing impression
